Turtle Back Zoo Day

I spent the afternoon today at the Turtle Back Zoo. The Director/Lead Vet gave me a lovely tour of the grounds and access to some amazing animals! Here are a few of my favorite photographs from my visit (Psssst...... they have several peacocks!)

I'm a sucker for the porkipine! one found it's way into our garage when i was in high school. I love them!

thanks ladies!! :) It was a blast. Oh and my sister thought that little guy was a porcupine, too - but it's actually a pygmy hedgehog! The Director had to put on gloves and unroll him from his prickly ball for me. ;)
