School Bus-Sized Fish

I'm in Washington, D.C. right now wrapping up a few things before I fly out to Mexico this weekend. I'll be there with a team doing whale shark research attending the annual Whale Shark Festival.

Stay tuned for posts on the Nat Geo INSIDE WILD blog, and follow frequent updates on my Twitter page while I'm traveling.

If you're interested in learning about whale sharks, they are a FASCINATING fish species. Check out this National Geographic Fact Sheet on whale sharks, and read my blog post on a whale shark feeding at the Georgia Aquarium.
