Cool! I should go one of these years. I went to the parade once or twice when I was little but not as an adult. :)

it was really fun – our first time going. I can see the benefit of arriving early and getting a great seat, but we kind-of enjoyed meandering around and checking out different viewing points. Maybe I'll feel differently after we have kids. But I think we'll make it an annual tradition while we live in Manhattan!

And @Juju – it's still *so* surreal that next year we'll have a child!! :)
