Baby Shower

I truly have such loving and generous family and friends. This past weekend, my baby shower in DC was the most perfect event ever...

To protect the privacy of the attendees, I won't be posting many photos on my blog... But here's a few tidbits: It was an urban-themed shower held at an awesome chocolate boutique in downtown Washington, D.C...

Table settings were "Big Apple" cozies (purchased here) with NYC-themed toppers (buy here)...

Guests wrote the sweetest Wishes for Baby (cards bought from here) and filled out a Baby Kendall guessing game... I cherished the time reading through these the other night! They'll be going into my pregnancy album :)

There were a few other fun games with prize winners & gift time for Baby K...

We enjoyed a three-course brunch, and the s'mores-with-bananas french toast seemed to be the biggest hit! And, since it was a chocolate boutique and all, we savored and sampled everyone's desserts...

Everyone made me (and Baby K!) feel so loved and special. My husband and I can barely wait to welcome him or her into the world in just about two months' time! I am so happy and thankful.
