Working in the Village

Last Saturday I needed to put in a few hours of writing + get away from my apartment. So I packed up my laptop and took the subway down to Greenwich Village...

There was an outdoor market at Abingdon Square...

... And a line at Magnolia Bakery.

But I didn't make any stops. I was en route to a specific destination. To an almost-one-hundred year old place that's – so they say – frequented by Martin Scorsese. It was first cafe to serve a cappuccino in the United States, served as a set in the Godfather II and, in 1959, presidential hopeful John F. Kennedy made a speech outside its doors.

Caffe Reggio.

Bonus: free Wi-Fi.

So I was good for a few hours.

Visit Caffe Reggio.

This place sounds great! I should check it out as a writing spot sometime this summer. :)
