Family Weekend
Wednesday, July 13, 2011
My in-laws were in town for four days, and we had so much fun hanging out and being tourists in New York City. And of course stuffing our faces with good food (namely, here and here). We saw the Broadway play Baby it's You (a fun Golden Oldies production about the history of this group), shopped along Fifth Avenue, went on a boat tour around Manhattan and took pictures at the top of Rockefeller Center (more info to come). I feel so blessed to have married into such a sweet, loving family. I'll share more about our excursions over the next week, but for now I've got a pile of work to complete and a disaster for an apartment (can I pay you to do my laundry? take out my dogs? organize my closet? No?).

jodi! my boyfriend's family just spent the weekend, and we had a very similar experience (lots of good food, top of the rock, etc). but the best part - after they left, i organized my closet. no joke! it's life changing. still have a pile of laundry to do, but omg, organize your closet! life will make sense again ;)
Gina that's hilarious! Ugh, but I'm DREADING THE CLOSET. It's a disaster of winter clothes and belts and laundry and who knows what else. Maybe I need to put on a movie marathon and just make it happen this weekend. Hope writing is going well for you this week!
