Zipped it to Jersey

We spent the last two days in New Jersey. As much as I love NYC, it was so nice to be back in the country for a bit...

We celebrated my beautiful grandmother-in-law's 92nd birthday and spent time with family, then packed up our things from here and moved them into storage yesterday.

The dogs absolutely *loved* being back at the property (obviously). Doesn't Moose look handsome with his summer haircut? He likes being told he's pretty.

As you many of you might know, we sold our vehicles awhile back (which was a little painful since I had just bought my dream Wrangler and only got to enjoy it's top down ONCE). But we joined a popular urban car-sharing program called ZipCar. Since it'd been several months since I drove a car, I was dying for a road trip. Even a short one. Here's the little zipster we took... My first time in a Scion.

So I wouldn't say I'm cured of my recent wanderlust, but this little getaway helped. By the time we got back into the city last night, we both agreed that it was good to be home.
