So Long, Florida!

Turns out my three-week trip to Florida was more like 3.5 weeks. I had a fabulous time in the south, but it feels sooooo good to be back home in New York City. It feels like I was on the road forever. I flew back yesterday afternoon, and fall has arrived in the north! Boots, jackets, scarves! The crisp air. Love it all.

Over the next week I have a few scheduled meetings, doctor's appointments, and visits with friends.... And then we head out on vacation to St. Lucia! (crossing fingers for a week free of natural disasters.) But before we go, I'll be posting a few final Florida-related experiences, including the recap of my writing retreat goals.

In honor of all the time I spent in Florida over the last year, here are a few of my favorite memories.... Just click the image to link to the corresponding blog post.

 And some of the Florida-based stories I did for Nat Geo Wild last year:

What are your favorite things to do in Florida?

I'm always adding to my list of activities, so I'd love to hear your must-do adventures!

{here's what my sister and I are planning for next summer}

Great post and pictures, I can see why so many snowbirds from Canada move up and goto Florida.
