Happy New Year!
Hope you had a wonderful time ringing in 2012 with your loved ones. Although one of these days I plan on heading down to Times Square, this year we spent New Year's Eve in Central Park...
Fireworks go off at midnight in Sheep Meadow (for the Midnight Run) and we had a blast watching them from a northern spot in the park. I loved how the firework colors reflected off the skyscrapers & lake's surface.
The finale was really spectacular. Want to see?
It's always hard to believe when a new year rolls around, but I am so excited for 2012. Our baby will be arriving soon. It'll be our second year of living in Manhattan. We have lots of exciting trips & family excursions are on the agenda... So cheers to a brand-new year of adventures!

Happy New Year!! We spent it at a friend's house but I'd love to check out the fireworks one year. :)
Central Park sounds like much more fun.
We loved not having to leave our apartment until late, being able to walk home, avoiding the majority of the NYE crowds... but one of these days I do hope to go down to Times Square! My husband isn't sure about all the crazy down there ;)
