Before I Die....

Have you heard about the Before I Die blackboard in Brooklyn Heights? It's a project that began in New Orleans and has spread to construction zones across the world...

This particular spot is at the site of a future Shake Shack. There's a few bins of chalk, and passersby are welcome to write out their own life goal. I accidentally bumped into the blackboard on my way to a meeting over the weekend, and here's some of what I read...

Hotel Review: Anse Chastanet

As mentioned in my post yesterday, we stayed at two different resorts during our St. Lucia vacation. After our time in Castries (the capital), we took a taxi down the island to the fishing village of Soufriere, a beautiful place with the dramatic backdrop of the Pitons. While in Soufriere, we stayed at the luxurious Anse Chastanet resort (perhaps you recognize their sister site, the mind-blowingly beautiful Jade Mountain?). Here's a bit about our experience...

Hotel Review: Windjammer

Harbor Lights Cruise

There's lots of different Manhattan boat tours, but we found the two-hour Harbor Lights Cruise to be perfect for us last weekend. The vessel departs from Pier 83 and journeys south through New York Harbor and into the East River – a great way to see the NYC skyline on a glorious evening...

Top of the Rock 

Last weekend we went to Top of the Rock for the first time. It was a beautiful hot sunny day. A little hazy. We must have said five times how weird it is that we live here. In the city, on an island.
