Diamond Resorts Press Event

On Tuesday I was invited by Diamond Resorts to attend a press event at Eleanor Bunin Monroe Theater in Lincoln Center. Truthfully, I have never stayed at a Diamond Resorts property and did not know much about the company prior to the event. But it was shared with me that the CEO, Stephen Cloobeck, recently went undercover in his own company for the CBS show Undercover Boss... and since I've been a long-time fan of the television series, I was intrigued to learn more about Mr. Cloobeck's experience and how they would in turn impact Diamond Resorts properties, employees, and customers...

Hotel Review: Anse Chastanet

As mentioned in my post yesterday, we stayed at two different resorts during our St. Lucia vacation. After our time in Castries (the capital), we took a taxi down the island to the fishing village of Soufriere, a beautiful place with the dramatic backdrop of the Pitons. Hotel Review: Windjammer

We split our time in St. Lucia by staying at two resorts in different cities. The first one we stayed at was the Windjammer Landing Beach Resort, which is located near the capital of Castries (on the northwest part of the island.)

Beach Sunrise

I heard there were sea turtles laying eggs on the beach last night, but I only discovered little crabs scattering across the sand.
